The Opportunity:
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the International Sales Manager will take full responsibility for developing and managing Resonance’s international sales performance, focusing on increasing revenue from markets outside of France. This role combines strategic business development, client relationship management, and hands-on sales execution across multiple international markets.
The ideal candidate will be based in the UK, with frequent travel across Northern and Continental Europe and occasional visits to Resonance venues in France.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Execution
- Manage and grow existing B2B accounts, particularly international golf tour operators, travel agencies, and corporate event planners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across Europe, including emerging markets and untapped sales channels.
- Explore and build direct-to-consumer sales channels focused on golf-related group travel, events, and incentives.
- Collaborate with IT and marketing teams to integrate and manage online booking platforms in line with strategic pricing and positioning.
Sales Strategy & Marketing
- Set revenue targets and sales objectives for each international market.
- Develop and manage market-specific action plans and marketing budgets.
- Create and deliver marketing and communication materials (digital and print) for various platforms including the IAGTO website and trade publications.
- Represent the brand at international trade shows, events, and familiarisation (FAM) trips.
Client & Partner Engagement
- Maintain high levels of client satisfaction through consistent follow-up, tailored solutions, and attention to booking quality.
- Work closely with local course and resort managers to ensure a seamless client experience, address bespoke requests, and troubleshoot service issues.
Reporting & Analytics
- Produce detailed monthly reports tracking sales performance, marketing ROI, partner activity, and conversion metrics.
- Monitor competitive landscape and adjust strategies as necessary to capture new market share.
Candidate Profile
Essential Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of experience in international B2B sales, ideally within the travel, hospitality, or golf sectors.
- Strong knowledge of sales planning, market development, and client management.
- Results-oriented mindset with excellent negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience working with booking systems, online travel platforms, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating across international and cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of at least one other European language (e.g., French, Dutch, German).
- Passion for or working knowledge of the golf industry.
- Experience in trade show participation, FAM trip organisation, and promotional campaigns.
- Familiarity with European tourism markets including Scandinavia, Benelux, and the UK.
