About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Events Manager to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of all events at The Queen's Club. This includes member social events, sporting days, corporate functions, and The Championships. The ideal candidate will be a creative, service-driven hospitality professional with a passion for delivering exceptional member experiences while achieving financial targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute a diverse calendar of events, ensuring high satisfaction and adherence to budgets.
  • Drive member engagement through innovative event formats and effective promotion.
  • Manage event sales, from enquiry to post-event feedback, including external client relationships.
  • Oversee tournament logistics, ticketing, and communications for The Championships.
  • Collaborate with F&B teams on menu planning, service standards, and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor a small team, ensuring seamless event delivery.
  • Monitor financial performance, cost control, and annual pricing reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with safeguarding, health & safety, and club policies.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience: Minimum 5 years in event/hospitality management, including VIP/sporting events and team leadership.
  • Skills: Strong sales, communication, and relationship-building skills. Proficiency in event management systems (e.g., Jonas).
  • Knowledge: Passion for tennis/sport, F&B trends, and commercial acumen.
  • Personal Traits: Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to evening/weekend work during peak periods.
  • Qualifications: Degree or vocational certification in hospitality/events. Food Safety/WSET training preferred.
